My Terms

By bringing your items in you are agreeing to these terms.

For my love of fashion and all things design I started this shop. A place to buy & sell beautiful pre-loved items that are affordable, timeless and better for Mother Earth. Items are checked, washed (if needed) and pressed. If you are addicted to fashion (like me) and need an affordable fashion fix every week, then this is the place for you!

Posted online twice a week. Items are loaded to social pages that week with all info added (when possible).

If you’re interested in selling with me, you get 50% and I get 50% (after any fees), so it’s a win-win. I also set the price based on experience and market research. We’ve made it easy for you the book a bag on the website, it’s under the “Have a Marie Kondo Moment” on the website. Or you can drop off items into my Cambridge store.

If you are planning on giving me more than one large bag please give me a heads up beforehand on social media contact as i need to make the space.

I will write your items up and let you know about items not accepted. You’ll get a copy of what’s on sale and as they sell I will update your sales total on my system each month. Payment to you is at the end of each month. Remember all garments need to be in amazing condition. These will be put in the shop when a space is available and until then they’ll be held in our Leamington warehouse. We take all care but no responsibility for lost or damaged items inside and outside the store.

Generally your items will sell within four weeks, but if they don’t, we’ll put them on sale at reduced price for a further 4 weeks (a total of 8 weeks in store). Extra time may be required for items of a higher value. I have the right to discount to get the sale if required. If by then they haven’t sold, we’ll let you know, and they can be collected or donated to Hospice or Women’s Refuge in Hamilton.

When you sign up please tick collect or donate. Your unsold items must be collected within 7 working days after I have made contact – at that point we’ll give you one last reminder and then they will be donated. We advocate for donating as we strongly support families' who deal with cancer and abuse and we know they do an amazing job. Please note, once your items are in store, you can’t remove them until we hit the 4-week mark in store and you must have my consent.

Washing-items must be freshly washed (within the last week) or will incur a $3 per item washing fee!

Labels we want is attached and is a great guideline so you are not disappointed. Think NZ think relevant designers.

Labels we do not want are: Anko (Kmart), Temu, Wish, Aliexpress, Pagani, Shein, Posties Plus, fast fashion; brands like Glassons and Dotti, Farmers, H&M mango, mirrou, Augustine etc. Anything sent with a condition that's not able to be sold will be set aside for pick up, posted at your cost or donated. Knits must have no pilling

Good things take time but together we can make it happen! Share your Jean and Pete items with friends and on social pages so more people shop! I will also advertise. You can’t sell a secret so word of mouth is key to your success.
